During times of uncertainty, it can be tough for families to keep a sense of calm as we try to help our teens feel safe, keep healthy routines, and build resilience. YES Community Counseling Center along with Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) and Levittown Community Action Coalition (LCAC) will be conducting a ZOOM Active Parenting Program for parents of teens (ages 13-17) starting, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 7:00pm -8:30 via ZOOM for six weekly sessions.
Active Parenting of Teens for parents of teens in grades seven through twelve is perhaps the most effective program ever offered in the “how to” of raising children. It is designed to equip parents with new skills and enhance the ones we already have in order to face the challenges during the lifeline journey as a parent. The video-based parent education series addresses age related issues and topics.
Parenting is not easy; Active Parenting can help. For registration, link and fee information please email Evanthia Mamtsaderis at training@yesccc.orgor call 516-719-0313 x224.
