Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) is hosting its second clean up of the Massapequa Preserve on Saturday, August 28th at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to Keep the Preserve Pristine.
The New York National Guard Counterdrug Task Force (NYNGCTF) and the Nassau County Police Department, continue to find drug paraphernalia in specific areas of the Preserve known as “hot spots”. MTAC invites residents, organizations, youth and families to volunteer and walk through these “hot spots” and help clean up litter and drug paraphernalia to ensure the Massapequa Preserve continues to be a safe and scenic environment for residents and their families.
